You must Register to Review Scholarship Application

PURPOSE:  To financially assist upper-class students attending Grambling State University. The funds will be presented in the form of a scholarship for eligible students to be distributed by the financial aid office and applied to the student account.

 

ELIGIBILITY: You must be:

• ➢ A resident of Houston or surrounding area
• ➢ G.P.A. of 3.0 or above, or can be based on need if less than a 3.0 G.P.A. but no lower than a 2.3 G.P.A.
• ➢ Sophomore and above attending Grambling University

 

REQUIREMENTS: To financially assist Houston area upper class students attending Grambling State University graduate.The funds will be presented in the form of a scholarship for Houston area students distributed by the financial aid office and applied to the student account.

• 2. Include one letter of recommendation from your Dean or Professor.
• 3. Submit most recent official transcript from Grambling. Must be mailed to foundation with the official school seal on it.
• 4. Proof of need provide financial aid award letter.
• 5. Include an essay no more than two pages.
• 6. A wallet size photo attached to the application.
